Our view of Kilimanjaro Exactly 180 Degrees opposite view again.  This shot was taken in the evening, one of the few times we actually could see that spectacular summit.  Five of the group in this picture are going back to Africa to climb the mountain in the background: Mt. Kilimanjaro.  The trip commences on the 16th of March, 2000.  If all goes well, we will be at the top of that peak on the 22nd, and back in our comfortable beds by the first of April. This was the spectacular view that we awoke to for a few mornings.  By 7 or 8 AM it was usually covered in clouds.
These were the two monkeys who met us at the first lodge.   I absolutely did not doctor these pictures.  Those puppies are real. Blue BallsBlue Balls
